Today I want to share a crochet pattern with you for one of the cutest little sea turtles! Is he not adorable! This baby sea turtle is the perfect size for baby bibs, hats, and lovies! There's plenty more ways to use this little guy and I know you will find them!
A member of Orchid and Bee's VIP facebook group, Mrs.Tammy, made a cute little jean/crochet dress blend and used this little sea turtle to embellish it! See there are all kinds of ways to use this little guy! I hope you enjoy this pattern!

Pattern
Materials:
Yarn - worsted weight 4
Dark Green
Light Green
Hook - G - 4 mm
Safety eyes
Needle
Hot glue
Scissors
Stitches:
Sc - single crochet
Sl st - slip stitch
Hdc - half double crochet
Skill level - Beginner - If you are unsure of any stitches Youtube will be your friend! There are great tutorials on the different stitches and on crocheting in rounds.

Pattern Info - Feel free to have fun with this pattern! You have creative license! This is a great project to use up scrap yarn! Also whenever I use safety eyes I put hot glue around the back to give it extra security! Pattern Instructions
*beginning chains do not count as st
*leave long tails if sewing together or weave in ends if using hot glue
Head:
Begin: Color B - Make a Magic Ring
Round 1: Ch 2, 10 hdc in magic ring, sl st to join, ch 1. (10 st)
Round 2: Sc in each st, sl st to join, fasten off. (10st)
Body:
Begin: Color A - Make a Magic Ring
Round 1: Ch 2, 10 hdc in magic ring, sl st to join, ch 2. (10 st)
Round 2: 2 hdc in each st, sl st to join, fasten off. (20 st)
Eyes (white): will need 2 safety eyes
Begin: Position eyes in desires spots and attach safety backings. Cover backing with hot glue to add
extra security.
Front Legs: will need to make 2
Begin: Color B - ch 7.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc , dc 2, hdc , sc, fasten off. (6st)
Back legs: will need to make 2
Begin: Color B - ch 5
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from, hdc 2, sl st in last st, fasten off. (4st)
Assembly - Lay out the pieces first to get your desired look. You can tilt the head slightly to get an even
cuter look! You can either use the tails to stitch together or assemble with hot glue. Below are suggested
assembly steps.
Attach eyes to body, put hot glue around the safety backing to add extra security.Stitch or hot glue head to the body. Attach front legs under the body near the head. Tuck one leg behind the other angled slightly so that you can see both. Attach back legs at the back of the body. tuck one leg under the other slightly tilted so that you can see each leg.
Tips:
You can use pins to hold your pieces together while you sew them or hot glue them.
