There is a certain holiday that is coming up that people really enjoy decorating for... I believe it is called "Halloween" ha ha! While we do not celebrate Halloween in our home, I know many do in places all over the world, and this is a great pattern to use for treat bags, pillows, blankets, wall decor, signs, banners, wreaths, and more!
If you would like to make these into little toys to play with, you can double the pieces and sew them together then stuff them with a little poly-fil to have full little squishy toys!
These are made with an H 5mm hook, but you can easily make them slightly smaller with a G 4mm hook as well!
If you have a shop, you could totally make some super cute bags with these to sell! Here are a few packs of totes you should totally check out on Amazon.
These would make great treat bag sets for classrooms, sports teams, clubs, etc! The fun thing is you can change up the colors of the Monsters for each bag.

As I am writing this, the song "The Monster Mash" is playing in my head lol! It is funny what songs automatically play in our heads from childhood when triggered by a word, phrase, or image ha ha!
If you haven't heard the song in a while and it's a favorite of yours, you should totally find it on Youtube and play it while you are making these for a little extra fun and entertainment!
Also, if you are a fan of Monsters Inc., you can totally play with the colors and get a Mike Wazowski inspired monster!
You could totally make some super cute banners and signs with these as well. You can visit my alphabet pattern to make the letters for "Halloween!"
If you would like a copy of the ad-free printable version of the pattern, you can grab it from my store or from Ravelry or Etsy.
Here is how you crochet these cute little monsters!
Oh Wait! I forgot to tell you what I named each one ha ha! I had to give them names of course! Especially because my youngest daughter loved playing with these after I made them lol!
The biggest monster with the orange horns and the tongue slurping its upper lip is named Yum Yum Monster. His worm soup is his favorite yummy treat haha!
Next, we have Squiggles Monster. When his little orange tentacle feet shimmy through the dirt, he leaves little squiggle trails behind him in the dirt.
Last, we have Pinky Monster, and she is a happy-go-lucky monster who keeps everyone smiling. Ok, now that you have been formally introduced, let's make them! Where is the laughing emoji when you need it! LOL
So first, let's make Yum Yum Monster!
